Harris Yulin (born November 5, 1937) is an American actor who has appeared in over a hundred film and television series roles, such as Scarface (1983), Ghostbusters II (1989), Clear and Present Danger (1994), Looking for Richard (1996), Bean (1997), The Hurricane (1999), Training Day (2001), and Frasier which earned him a Primetime Emmy Award nomination in 1996.[1]

Harris Yulin most recently collaborated with the Goodman on The Trip to Bountiful during the 2007/2008 Season. His other Goodman credits incldue, Louis Sullivan in Robert Falls’ production of Richard Nelson’s Frank’s Home and as The Director in the world premier of Arthur Miller’s Finishing the Picture. Mr. Yulin directed Horton Foote’s One-Armed Man and The Prisoner’s Song at The Ensemble Studio Theatre and his The Trip to Bountiful at Signature Theatre Company. His most recent directing credits include Conor McPherson’s This Lime Tree Bower at Primary Stages. Other directing credits include Don Juan in Hell (various theaters); Steve Tesich’s Baba Goya and Adele Shank’s Winterplay at Second Stage Theatre in New York; The Rehearsal (East L.A. Biography and career[]
Yulin was born in Los Angeles, California. He was raised in a Jewish home. Yulin attended UCLA, where he studied acting. He made his Off-Broadway debut in 1963. Yulin has continued to perform on theatre on several occassions.
Aside of theatre, Yulin has appeared in dozens of Hollywood films and made-for-TV movies. In one of his early films, The Missiles of October, he shared the screen with William Devane. However, he first gained notoriety in the cult Brian De Palma film Scarface (1983) playing a crooked cop who double-crosses Al Pacino's character.
