Lindsay Gottlieb Biography
Lindsay Gottlieb is the head women's basketball coach at USC. Prior to joining the Trojans, she became part of a group of pioneering female coaches in the NBA. Gottlieb accepted a position as an assistant coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2019. She entered the NBA with major credentials as the former head women's basketball coach at the University of California. In eight seasons with the Golden Bears, Gottlieb compiled a 179-89 record. She led the program to seven NCAA Tournament appearances. In just her second season on the job, Cal went to their first Final Four in school history. Gottlieb's team also won the Pac-12 regular season title and she was named conference Coach of the Year. Before coming to Cal, she spent three seasons as the head coach at UC-Santa Barbara. The Gauchos won two Big West Conference titles under her watch.

BOULDER, Colo. — A three-month-old baby sleeps peacefully in an almost silent room in the tunnels of CU Events Center. While music thumps on the court, where USC and Colorado are warming up for a critical game in the Pac-12 conference race, the only sound in a room normally intended for film study is the rhythmic suction of a breast pump.

Lindsay Catherine Gottlieb (born October 2, 1977) is an American basketball coach who is the women's head coach for the USC Trojans of the Big Ten Conference. She was previously the head coach of the California Golden Bears women's team before becoming an assistant coach for the Cleveland Cavaliers of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
Gottlieb began her head coaching career with the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos where she spent three years and led the team to two regular-season Big West championships in 2009 and 2011, as well as the Big West tournament championship in 2009.[1] In just her second season at the University of California, Berkeley, Gottlieb led the 2012–13 Golden Bears to their first Final Four in school history, their first Pac-12 Conference championship, and the most wins ever by a Cal women's basketball team (32–4).
