Dutch worship leader, songwriter and speaker Kees Kraayenoord has grown to become one of Holland's leading voices within the church. Last year he released a best-of album drawing songs from his seven albums, featuring collaborations with songwriters like Graham Kendrick, Noel Richards, Chris Eaton and Aaron Keyes. LTTM decided to find out more about the man.

For those who haven't heard of you before, can you tell us a little bit about yourself and how you got involved in making music?

My name is Kees Kraayenoord (Case Krayenord). Born as a son of a fisherman, I grew up in the Dutch 'Bible Belt' in Katwijk aan Zee (a traditional fishers town) and was introduced to Christian music at an early age. My parents encouraged me to make music and sing. After a stormy period in my life during which I turned my back to God and the church, I came to a personal faith in Jesus Christ. Dutch worship band InSalvation release new album ‘EXODUS’ leading into a two-nation tour

Hailing from the Netherlands, InSalvation drop their brand new album ‘EXODUS’ today, marking their first release as part of the Integrity Music family. Featuring co-writes with Tom Smith, Ian Yates, Matt Hooper and Kees Kraayenoord, the fresh collection of songs will be at the forefront of a subsequent tour across the Netherlands and Belgium.  
 

‘EXODUS’ delivers eclectic songs and soundscapes, breathing fresh air into the worship sphere. It is an album of conviction and clarity, showing further growth of the Dutch collective that started almost fifteen years ago and has since grown into one of the leading worship bands in the Netherlands. The album’s name and title track echo a declaration of faith to follow where God’s promises lead, mirroring the pilgrimage of the people of Israel out of Egypt and bondage towards true freedom in the promised land.
