Essex's "Little Chef" enjoyed a rapid rise during the 2017 title-winning season, progressing from university cricketer to first-team debutant and then bagging two five-fors in his first four Championship appearances at the sharp end of the campaign. By the following summer, he was regularly taking the new ball alongside Jamie Porter, demonstrating excellent control and an ability to move the ball both ways while operating at a slippery, medium-fast pace.

ABOUT

SAM COOK PRODUCER

Recording, Mixing & Mastering Engineer from Lincoln, UK

Having spent the majority of my late teens and twenties recording, releasing, and touring in bands, I first took steps to get into record production and audio engineering in 2015. I am currently based between my home studio, and Playing Aloud’s recording facility in Lincoln. I’ve always been in love with the creative processes involved in making records, and found it the most rewarding and addictive part of being in a band. I do little else, and find myself happily obsessed, working with Rock/ Indie & Punk bands to capture what they do in the best possible light.

Coming from a DIY background, I’ve always had a strong hard work ethic and love getting completely immersed in the projects I take on. I believe in nurturing creativity and building an environment where we can produce the best possible performances, and the best possible record.

If you’re interested in working together, have any questions, or just want to talk about recording… ple
